When you enlist The Clinton Group, Inc. to work on your campaign, you can be sure that every call is conducted in a sensitive, quantifiable, and consistent manner. The quality of our contact with each and every voter is critical. That is why our professional staff is trained and skilled in the nuances of political campaigning and persuasive interactive communications. Our programs work because our approach is unique. We cut through the information clutter. We do not just talk at people; we engage them. By informing the voters, assessing their positions on your issues, persuading them, and finally motivating them to vote, WE WIN.

A central tenet of our methodology is that strategic repetitive contact is key. Our true give-and-take communications approach sets up a flow of information that often makes the difference between victory and defeat.

Phase #1:
Sensitizing Call and Mail
This telephone call, to all voters in the targeted universe, has a dual purpose: alert voters about the campaign and its goals, and urge them to make a small commitment, such as agreeing to read your direct mail literature. We follow up with an introductory sensitizing mail piece that goes out to targeted voters.
Phase #2:
Identification Call

This call draws out the voters' perspectives on issues - critical information in narrowing the group we will continue to contact. By eliminating opponents and setting aside strong supporters for future communications, we pinpoint persuadable voters.
Phase #3:
Targeted Personalized Mail
The second personalized mail piece addresses the key issues identified as most important to each voter, helping solidify support for the campaign by connecting common goals.
Phase #4:
Persuasion Call
This call persuades, then re-identifies the "undecided" voter's attitude by delivering the campaign's stand on key issues previously identified and then asking for support.
Phase #5:
Targeted Persuasion Mail
This final persuasive contact is personalized again to address the voter's major concerns. Its timing is critical - within a day or two of the persuasion call.
Phase #6:
Get-Out-The-Vote Mail
To underscore the reminder call, all supporters receive a mailer with their local polling place information; sometimes including targeted messages on specific issues to motivate them to vote.
Phase #7:
Get-Out-The-Vote Calls
As Election Day approaches, we launch two waves of reminder calls - one a few days before and another on Election Day itself - to urge all our identified supporters to go to the polls. We also coordinate rides to the polls and encourage supporters to vote early on Election Day.
